Facing The Remarkables and Lake Wakatipu, the view from our one and two-bedroom offerings located within the Residence du Lac complex is beyond words. The crystal blue water of the Wakatipu is in plain sight from the lounge and bedroom, with the glass panel sliding doors opening to the large outdoor balcony. Perfect for evening drinks as the sun sets in the summer and likewise for morning coffee in the winter as you inspect the snow conditions up on The Remarkables, the views afforded from Residence du Lac are most definitely worth writing home about. In both options (1 or 2-bedroom), you are greeted by the open-plan living and kitchen area as you enter. The kitchen is fitted with an induction stovetop, oven, and fridge freezer facilities to ensure comfortable living whilst in-house.

Given both apartments' lakeside locations, you have immediate access to the Frankton walking track. This track hugs the lake with the option of heading towards Frankton or Queenstown. With track access, you are mere minutes away from established eateries such as The Boatshed, The Sherwood, and The Altitude Brewery. If you decide to walk into the heart of Queenstown via the trail, it will take you just under an hour. If deciding against the walk, public transport options are available with bus stop locations at the top of the driveway.
Adding to the home comforts, the bathrooms are fitted with underfloor heating and a heated towel rail with washing and drying facilities also in-house.
Feeling thirsty? Filtered drinking water is readily available from the newly installed tap in unit 15 (2-bedroom option).
If you are travelling with a group of friends or small children, the two-bedroom option offers a king-splittable bed, meaning everyone is looked after.
Private off-street parking in the designated car park is available for those travelling with a vehicle.

Neat and cosy place with a great view overlooking Cecil Peak on Frankton Road. A 5 minute drive into the town city, along a scenic road. Comes with everything you need for a holiday including a washing machine, BBQ, spacious balcony and TV. Would recommend and would stay again.

This place had amazing views of the lake and the Remarkables! It was only about a 5-minute drive into Queenstown and also so close to Frankton, was a pretty perfect location. The place was so cosy and had everything we needed! Loves the balcony and the views from the bedroom. Felt right at home, very cosy. Highly recommend.

Beautiful location with a stunning view of Lake Wakatipu. It was gorgeous waking up to that view every morning. It is a 5-minute drive to the Town Centre and a beautiful scenic walk to town also if you prefer. The apartment was comfortable and had loads of amenities, kitchenware and utensils. Everything was clean and the bathroom had heated floors and a towel rack perfect for the chilly night weather. The host was always so friendly, helpful and quick to respond. It was lovely staying here for our getaway to NZ and would highly recommend!

We really loved the unit (35) that we stayed in! The apartment is well appointed with just the right amount of furniture, kitchen wear and even the BBQ! We didn't really have time to enjoy the apartment as much as we should have as we only had 4 days to see and do a lot in Queenstown, but to return after a hard day's sightseeing to a warm, beautiful unit was very comfortable.
