Lounge Kitchen and Dining area

Upon entering the Shotover Penthouse and Spa, you will find the open plan living and dining area immediately in front of you with the fully equipped kitchen to your left. The kitchen is spacious and well provisioned ensuring those who want to dine-in and entertain for the evening have all the facilities to do so. The kitchen is fully equipped with gas stovetop and extractor fan, electric oven, microwave, coffee machine large fridge freezer, kettle, toaster and dishwasher. The cupboards are fully stocked with utensils and cooking equipment with basic provisions such as salt, pepper and cooking oil also provided.

Immediately behind the kitchen, you will find the spacious and chicly designed lounge and dining area. This space has a rustic feel with the dark woods of the dining table, display cabinets and large mirrors juxtaposed against the central stone-wall column. There is a relaxed alpine style chalet feel to the lounge area which plays host to two large and comfortable sofas as well as two armchairs. Sky television and ultra-fast complimentary Wi-Fi ensure your entire group can be kept well entertained if the Queenstown weather disrupts your outdoor plans.

The South-East-facing section of the lounge area is fitted with floor to ceiling sliding glass door windows ensuring the apartment is basked in sun throughout the day and that the exceptional views are always on offer from the comfort of the living area. A singular stretch of skylights in the ceiling provides added radiance to an already sun-basked space.

The sliding doors open to the elongated balcony which features outdoor table and chairs as well as a gas-powered BBQ; perfect for Queenstown’s long summer nights. Sunrise and sunset can be captured in full from this space and offers a great alfresco dining alternative for breakfast, lunch, dinner or casual evening drinks.

Temperature control is guaranteed, with The Shotover Penthouse and Spa coming fully equipped with both cosy gas fireplace as well as air conditioning/heat-pump unit in the extensive lounge area. With these added home comforts, you are guaranteed to be both cosy and warm in the harsh winter months and pleasantly cool throughout Queenstown’s balmy summer months.

Bedrooms

On the same level as the lounge and kitchen area, you will find the first of three bedrooms. This room is vast and plays host to a splittable king bed (can be a king or 2x single beds). Local artwork brings the room to life with added comforts such as duo armchairs and ottomans as well as a wall-mounted heat-pump/air conditioning unit to ensure temperature control throughout the evenings.

The Master comes equipped with an expansive en-suite featuring a deep spa bath, dual sinks, large mirror, vanity mirror, shower facilities and includes luxuries such as heated towel rail and a heated fan system. This space opens to a shared toilet, accessible from the lounge area and also features the washing and drying facilities.

Upon heading upstairs to the second floor you will find the two remaining bedrooms. On your left, the second bedroom is similarly designed to the downstairs Master, playing host to a splittable king bed and again featuring local artwork and air conditioning/heat-pump unit. This space is lake facing, affording the spectacular views Queenstown is renowned for with access via glass door to the second-floor balcony. Once again you are presented with the luxury and convenience of your very own en-suite, again featuring dual sinks, shower facilities, toilet, bidet, heated towel rail and heated fan.

The third and final bedroom on the right as you come upstairs is similarly fitted with king splittable bed and heat pump/air conditioning unit and has a singular skylight within the ceiling. The third bedroom also enjoys the luxury of its own en-suite again featuring shower facilities, toilet, heated towel rail and heated fan.

Second Lounge, Upstairs Balcony and Jacuzzi

On the second floor and directly in between the two upstairs bedrooms in this luxury Queenstown apartment you will find the second lounge area. Slightly more intimate than downstairs, this space has a relaxed vibe with sofa and armchairs.This space is perfect for afternoon and early evening cocktails with a small minibar fridge and glasses readily available.

Much like the lounge downstairs, the upstairs lounge benefits from glass panel sliding doors that open to the upstairs balcony. This lake and mountain facing area hosts the outdoor jacuzzi; perfect after long days up the mountain in the winter and equally as pleasant in the height of summer after arduous hiking or biking adventures. The outdoor table and chairs make the outdoor balcony the perfect place to unwind and reflect on your daily Queenstown adventures.

One designated parking space in the secure underground parking lot is yours for the entirety of your stay with the lift system from this level providing ease of access.
