Our properties are fully self-contained and self-catering and daily servicing is not included in the overnight rate.
Housekeeping on Check-Out - A standard cleaning charge is built into the nightly accommodation rate. On departure; guests are expected to leave the property tidy with all rubbish disposed of and dishes done/dishwasher loaded. Should an excessively littered or dirty property result in extended housekeeping hours required to service and prepare the property for the next guests; Staysouth.com reserves the right to charge extra hours at $50+GST. Should it be necessary to clean carpets, fumigate, remove stains, repaint, repair finishes, or replace furnishings, textiles, BBQ or home wares, or remove excess rubbish; you will be charged for travel, labour, materials, and merchandise, plus one hour @ $50+GST. Excess cleaning costs will be charged to the credit card held on file.
In-house Servicing - All Staysouth properties are self-catered and self-contained, and unless staying for 8 or more nights servicing during your stay is not included in the overnight rate. Staysouth.com is happy to provide additional servicing upon prior arrangement, additional costs apply and vary from property to property, and according to guests’ requirements - please enquire well in advance as staff availability cannot be guaranteed.
Mid-Stay Servicing - For a stay of 8 or more nights; Staysouth.com offers a free service including linen and towel change, bathrooms and kitchen tidied and wiped down, all rubbish removed, and condiments restocked. You will be notified the date of service when your check-in information is emailed to you (approximately 7-10 days prior to your arrival).
Bedding Configurations - Each property has its own bed configuration limitations, please check these at the time of booking and specify your requirements. Once confirmed by Staysouth.com and accepted by guests; any request to change the configuration – for example, from two singles to a zip king - upon arrival will result in additional callout fee and linen charges.
Smoking In The Property - There is no smoking inside or on the premises of any Staysouth.com managed property and please remove any cigarette butts from outside the property. If tobacco odour is noted on check out; Staysouth reserves the right to charge a penalty fee plus any additional cleaning and fumigation costs. All costs and fees will be charged to the credit card held on file.
Callout Charges - Costs will be incurred in the event that a guest activates a security alarm or damages or misuses appliances or electronics resulting in a serviceman or Staysouth.com callout. Any repair costs and/or callout fees and will be charged to the credit card held on file.
Check out - Before leaving we ask that you stack and turn the dishwasher on, ensure all furniture is in its original position, place rubbish in the bins provided and ensure the property is neat and tidy. Please make sure you have taken all personal items from the safety deposit box and that it is empty, unlocked and open. Please also check all heaters, gas fire and electric blankets are turned off. A standard exit clean is included in your stay, however should extra cleaning (removing cooking odours or carpet stains) be required this will be a guest cost.
