The Southern Hemisphere's largest and most fabulous week is fast approaching – from the 27th August to 3rd of September Queenstown plays host to the colourful event known as Gay Ski Week.

Our three world class ski fields welcome people from all over to celebrate diversity in the only way fitting, with a week of themed parties, karaoke and a sizzling line up of events on and off the mountain.

Broken Shed Opening Party
Where: World Bar, 12 Church Lane, Queenstown
When: Saturday 27th August 7:00pm- 2:00am
Head to World Bar for opening night and enjoy a complimentary drink, a few nibbles and be entertained by the sounds of DJ Haylenise.

Anchors Away
Where: Southern Discoveries - Spirit of Queenstown, 110 Beach Street, St Omer Wharf, Queenstown
When: Sunday 28 August 6:30pm – 12:00am
Who doesn’t love a boat party? DJ Adam Love has made the trip over again from Sydney - Anchors Away!

Diversity Day
Where: The Remarkables Ski Field, Queenstown
When: Monday 29th August 11:00am
A fun filled day of activities up the Remarks including the annual Drag Race, a must do!

Queer Quiz Night
Where: The Ballarat Trading Co. 7-9 The Mall Queenstown
When: Monday 29th August 7:00pm – 12:00am
Show off your general knowledge and head down to the Ballarat, don’t miss out on the great prizes up for grabs.

The Caluzzi Queens Cabaret Night
Where: Skyline Gondola, Restaurant & Luge, Brecon Street, Queenstown
When: Wednesday 31 August 6:30pm – 12:00am
Head to Skyline for a night of great food and entertainment, enjoy entertainment from the Caluzzi girls and sweeping views of Queenstown.

Karaoke Night
Where: SKYCITY Queenstown Casino, Beach Street, Queenstown
When: Thursday 1 September 8:00pm
Hosted by Miss Ribena of Family Bar, head down to Skycity for a fantastic night listemning to some not so fabulous singers.

Desperados Wet & Wild Foam Party
Where: Loco, 49 Shotover Street, Queenstown
When: Friday 2 September 7:30pm – 3:00am
DJ ACraig is back again this year to bring us a wet & wild night, make sure to bring an extra set of clothes!

Heroes & Villans
Where: Queenstown Memorial Centre, 1 Memorial Drive Queenstown
When: Saturday 3 September 9:00pm – 3:00am
Themed party anyone? Come down to Memorial Hall and bring in the end of Gay Ski Week with DJ Jordan Eskra and Victoria Anthony.
