Plan a getaway to Queenstown for Anzac day this year and enjoy a long weekend of delicious food and wine, paired with some relaxation or adventure, Queenstown offers plenty of options for both! Check out some of our favourite things to do over the long weekend:

Walks & Hikes

Queenstown is home to a diverse range of walking and hiking trails suitable for all levels and ages. The regions picturesque landscapes make for perfect scenic walks, some starting right in Queenstown. Then there is the iconic Fiordland and Mount Aspiring national parks where you will find plenty of walks of varying degrees including the infamous Milford track.

Onsen Hot Pools

Relax with a cheese board and a Central Otago Pinot as you take in the beautiful mountains while bathing in your own private hot tub. Onsen Hot Pools are located just a short 15minute drive on the outskirts of Queenstown, and enjoy uninterrupted views across the Shotover Canyon.

Wine Tasting & Tours

No trip to Queenstown/Central Otago is complete without visiting one of our local wineries. Showcasing some of New Zealand’s best wines and home to famous wineries such as Mt Difficulty and Bannockburn, whether you are a wine connoisseur or merely an enthusiast it will be an afternoon well spent. If you are a little less interested in the wine and more focussed on the food and setting, then the internationally acclaimed cuisine at Amisfield is a must!

Bungy Jump

Queenstown is home to the Bungy so why not throw yourself off one of our 3 ledges here, attached only to what is essentially a large rubber band! Ranging from the original commercial bungy standing a small 43m above the Kawarau river to the Nevis Bungy hanging an intimidating 134m above the Nevis river we have you covered.
