Queenstown mountains have had a top of fresh snow over the past week and with the help of snow-making, conditions at Coronet Peak and The Remarkables are better than ever for you to hit the slopes for epic skiing and snowboarding with the family.
Accessing daily snow reports is easy – you can even see snowmaking conditions at Coronet Peak, Queenstown’s premier ski area.
The ski fields have some great school holiday programmes, like the Kruiser Squad. This programme is aimed at kids aged five and up with some skiing or snowboarding experience – it’s a full-day programme with an emphasis on learning and includes lunch. You can wave goodbye to the kids for either three or five days, while mums and dads have time to relax and enjoy themselves.
And don’t forget, kids aged 10 and under get free lift passes at The Remarkables and kids six and under get free lift passes at Coronet Peak.
Queenstown runs some great off-piste activities for kids aged five to 12 through the Lakes Leisure school holiday programme.
Spacious luxury apartments are filling up fast for families here to experience a magical school holiday in Queenstown’s alpine environment.
Our friendly staff are all locals with kids and we're only too happy to help you with your school holiday needs. Check out our family-friendly ski apartment accommodation.
