Filled with quirky vintage furniture this café is a hard one to find tucked away in Arrow Lane but is a rewarding find for those that veer of the main street. The menu focuses on clean fresh and healthy food with a bit of and Asian twist. Like many of the regions cafes, The Chop Shop sources local produce designing the menu around what is in season, and what’s more they update the menu every couple of days, keeping the locals on their toes.

The well-known Central Otago winery Akarua has paired up with Queenstown Artisan Catering to bring us the delicious Akarua Wines & Kitchen by Artisan. Setting up shop in the historic Walnut Cottage situated between Lake Hayes and Arrowtown, this new location will act as a “taster” to what they have to offer in their expansive wine range. All we can say is that the menu speaks for itself!

Set in a quaint miner’s cottage, Provisions is the place to go if you are a fan of preserves. While they offer delicious traditional food which can be enjoyed in the outdoor garden seating, the jams and chutneys alike are where they really shine.

This meat joint is tucked away in Arrowtown and is worth the trip if you consider yourself a Burger Connoisseur. The Buttermilk chicken and pulled pork burgers are mouth-watering to say the least!
