LUMA Queenstown – The Southern Light Project

16/5/2017 | Posted in Discover Queenstown

Visiting Queenstown over Queens Birthday weekend this year? Be sure to check out Queenstown’s newest and brightest festival, and judging on its success last year, LUMA will quickly become a staple in the social events calendar for all locals and international visitors alike.

From the 2nd to the 5th of June this year LUMA will be lighting up the Queenstown gardens for the second time with illuminated sculptures, interactive light installations, and projections from a variety of local, national and international artists.

Similar to last year’s event there will be food and drink stalls onsite in the Gardens for those who would like to have a glass of mulled wine as they wander through the gardens admiring the pieces.

This year Staysouth have partnered with LUMA to offer all LUMA visitors 10% off stays across all Staysouth managed properties for the 2 weeks surrounding the event. This discount can only be captured here from the LUMA website – get in quick as spots are filling up and you don’t want to miss out!
