The Open showcases New Zealand, in particular Queenstown, as a world-class golfing destination. The tournament will have a minimum field of 140 professionals and 140 amateurs playing alongside each other, and will be split evenly across the two courses for the first round with all players switching/alternating to the opposing course for the second round.
